On May 29, United Way Greater Toronto, Sheridan College, Mississauga Board of Trade and the Metamorphosis network held a debate on the critical social and economic issues facing Mississauga. Preceded by a community consultation across the city to inform the questions posed to candidates, the debate was an important opportunity for residents to hear directly from those vying to be Mayor their vision for nurturing a strong and vibrant Mississauga for all – where residents have access to an affordable place to live, financial stability, community services, reliable, affordable and accessible transit, and a voice in shaping the city.
