Our Program Funding is one of the ways that United Way delivers on its mission to meet urgent and changing needs by strengthening the GTA’s social safety net.
We know that poverty shows up in multiple arenas of life. That’s why these program grants equip community agencies to fight poverty from all sides and respond to evolving needs.
These program grants also reflect the latest evolution in United Way’s funding: Going deeper into places where poverty is concentrated, and strengthening our investments in organizations that are Indigenous, Black, and equity-led, focused and serving.
